Challenge
The business needed consistent, trustworthy visibility of operational and financial performance across multiple departments, drawing on multiple disconnected data sources and software systems.
Approach
Damian designed and delivered enhanced management information frameworks and Power BI dashboards — with live operational data pulled in through Tugger — validating data accuracy across sources and combining operations, finance and performance data into a streamlined interface. He aligned organisational and departmental KPIs to measurable metrics, developed bespoke applications (including the “Connections” timesheet and compliance system), and managed a data analysis team — balancing agile reporting requests against strategic priorities. As Technology, Integration and Efficiency (TIE) champion, he researched system integrations, data validation and automation opportunities across the business, including implementing EzzyBills to automate invoice processing.
Outcome
Cross-departmental visibility of performance, enabling identification of trends, performance issues and improvement opportunities, with insights made accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
